With having women claiming they made the stories up for “political gain” he shouldn’t be held accountable in any way and it was a disgrace to our country and to the liberal media. Compared to Lt gov Fairfax where the post refuses to write an article about his sexual assault allegations even though it has more evidence than any of the Kavanaugh allegations including Dr. Ford’s shaken testimony.

Now, temperament has been thrown around with Kavanaugh’s name. Now I want to make this clear, he has the right to be upset that his family and his school has received death threats because of the liberal media’s demonizing coverage and the false articles written backed by biased sources and opinion (the Director of Communication at his high school had to send dozens of emails to the Post telling them to remove their false articles). He is allowed to be human and if you say he should have kept robust when he was called a sexual predator without proof, then that’s just hypocritical. Terrible!

I think the American people got ripped off.

I think the whole rape allegations were completely false, but because of them, we got no coverage of what kind of person he actually was. I voted no because after looking into him, I think there were better options. But by the end of the day his nomination wasn’t about nominating the best it was just another partisan battle.

He was an extremely unpopular judge even before the credible accusations of sexual conduct. The only reason he was selected over other more qualified and less controversial judges was because of his radical views on executive privilege.

Since some his statements under oath during his Senate confirmation hearing directly contradict what other people have stated, he should not be on the bench. Lying under oath should be a disqualifying factor for a Supreme Court Justice.

My hope is that, in the near future, we will have a 100% fully reliable “lie detector” system.
At that point, these accusations will no longer be a simple political debate but there will be a scarcity of male candidates running for public office.

The allegations against him were not adequately investigated, particularly the Angela Ramirez case.

I did t say he wasn’t qualified, clearly he is. I just think there are a few conservative judges that were more qualified. However, that was not my main factor in opinion about Kavanaugh. Even before be nominated there was some controversy around Kavanaugh, and only about a third of Americans approved of him. The only reason he was selected over a less controversial conservative judge who would have had a much easier nomination process is because of his views on executive privilege, which are extremely radical.

He went to Yale to study law, he was a law clerk and helped on the D.C Circuit, he assisted with the head of the Independent Counsel when investigation Bill Clinton, He was the White House Staff Secretary under Bush. He was then nominated to the Court of Appeals for the D.C Circuit, which the dems tried to stall for three years...

He was one of the few nominees who worked in the White House and was a judge and yes, he was the second most conservative judge when he was on the D.C Circuit.

However, he wasn’t radical... Pro-life is the only “radical” views he has and that’s a normal view for many republicans... Now your statements of executive privilege is kind of biased since all he said was that “Trump shouldn’t be criminally investigated while he is in office” Now, we all know that wouldn’t happen and Mueller still hasn’t found anything in two years and probably will not find any collusion while the investigation continues.
