Do you feel like you have too much stress in your life?
Lets attack the poor on a benign SOH question 👏
Work 12 hours, make dinner, fall asleep. Repeat. I've had anxiety attacks. I fight through traffic every day, help a crippled father, audited by the irs, on a "health share", and cant afford a house of my own. NJ/America is not kind to intilligent working individuals. Its almost like - what's the point; if all we do is work, worry about bills/future, and have nothing to show for it? I think that's the kind of stress america has. Who has time to raise or afford a family, or even see relatives these days? There is no way i can survive doing this much longer. I hope some of you out there might read this and appreciate it; its not a highlight reel, nor am i complaining. Its reality.
Thats such an uneducated myth. Volunteer with these populations and see for yourself.
I don't think you were glib. I think it's a very good point and the hardest part of dealing with people like that, at least for me, is there is nothing I can do to help them. They don't want it.
Omg, right now, yes. I’ll be so glad when this season of my life is done.
The question was not about work, it was stress. You think families on food stamps dont have stress??? People go on assistance for a number of reasons and its painful.
I've seen that too. I feel badly for them because life is so much better when you aren't living that way. Creating drama and stress out of nothing isn't healthy.
Ahhh thank you for this dear T, for bringing a sense of balance here. I was a bit glib in my portrayal. It can become a cycle that’s hard to break free of.
Not really. Stress for me is infrequent, and very situational. Stress seems a 'recreation' for some: If they’re not immersed in it, they’re doing everything they can to create it.
Life is good, I am very content! Might have something to do with age. 😊
Nah. I worry about nothing. Life is good.
Sorry to hear that.
Not enough I’m a vacant person. I don’t do anything at all rn! Nothing to stress over! Never have ever! I wanna know what it feels like. But I’m also in love with being carefree.
For many it is a lifestyle choice.
I don't think there's been a single day since I started high school that I HAVEN'T been stressed about something related to my grades/school
No. Although I have some unnecessary stress, it's not "too much". 90% of all stress in this world is self-induced. I try to remain calm and stay balanced.
absolutely, Im stressed like 90% of the time
Thanks Ebola! 👍
I used to have a lot of external stress but it went away. Good thing I have a super power to create my own internally
I feel like I should be more stressed out than I am.
Got married last year, we bought a house, I’m climbing the ladder at the company I work for, and my wife and I are planning on having a kid in the next year or two, but I remain calm and optimistic about everything.
We need more money, we are planning our retirement, but I wouldn’t say that any of it “stresses me out”.
No, not that much. I have stress that comes and goes in different circumstances, but nothing that is consistent. Overall, life seems more carefree than stressful.
I don’t feel like I have much stress in my life at all these days. What little there is comes from waiting, mostly. I really do better when the pace is fast enough to eliminate waiting as a thing.
Overall, yes. But it’s not constant so I deal.
Lately yes, but hopefully things will get back to normal, just a string of bad luck.
I have a lot of stress now
Simply pointing out they don’t have a job to go to with deadlines to meet.
Not that much anymore. I’ll be sliding into home plate in just a few years. It’s going to just get easier by the day.
😂😂😂😂oh thanks for the good laugh this morning 😂😂😂😂🤣😂🤣
Between adulting for the parents and living my own life.... I say hell yes I have to much stress in my life
In general yeah, not in the last two months
Nearly everyone does nowadays.
There is a good amount of it, but it could be worse
More stress than a person can handle.
Any stress is too much stress, but at this point in my life at least it’s not self inflicted stress like is was when I was younger.
New job & we are seriously understaffed!!!
It gets worse in (community) college
I feel ya
Yup. About 90 pieces of stress of everyday
Only because of work..... I bet welfare people have less stress , and lots and lots of chips and cookies. Thanks food stamps.
