Convention speech: A speech written by Emperor Political in the comments!
If liberals are reading this speech, they have already written their criticism of me because it’s deeply offensive to them for anyone to say anything Christian values. They probably are already saying that I want a theocracy. Let’s be clear - the government is largely inefficient at regulating anything. Are there some immoral behaviors that should be banned by the government? Sure - Abortion and gay marriage are some fine examples. Nevertheless, the most dramatic way to change the way of our society is for parents to take charge in teaching their kids strong conservative Christian teachings. We need a leader that can promote these ideals. DSH is a strong Christian man that I have confidence in leading VC. He is adamantly pro-life, and he believes the greatest impact in a child’s life occurs at home. We need someone who can change the system, and DSH is the man for the job.
The Emperor’s Speech
A long time ago in the 17th century, Puritans set voyage across the ocean to a largely unknown land to escape religious persecution. The Plymouth and Massachusetts Bay Colony had their struggles and faults, but no one can deny their passion for serving the Lord and their tenacity for starting a successful colony. About 150 years later, the birth of the greatest Nation on Earth was born off of similar values as the Puritans that I described. Unfortunately, we have evolved far away from the values exhibited by our early founders. Divorce rates are skyrocketing. Gay marriage is becoming more and more accepted. Abortion is legalized and glorified. There is a tremendous lack of responsibility taken by parent to educate their kids. Sexual immorality is exposed to kids at an early age, and many do not see an issue with it.
I’ll probably get banned.
Great speech! 👏 👏 👏
@Bower8899 will love it!
You nailed it, pol‼️
Why do non-religious people care about marriage? It’s just s social event anyways...
-Emperor Political’s speech-
What’s a gay marriage anyway?
Well political, it's when two gay people get married.
Because, if you say, "everybody can do this but this group", it's discrimination. Period.
And there are religious gays lol
Then why not just get rid of government licensed marriage altogether? Marriage can either be a social event or religious event, or both. Churches should be allowed to refuse anyone from getting married for any reasons.
I also don’t think that divorced people should be getting married again. So there are more than a few groups I am against getting married.
It's the gay marriage thing I have a problem with, obviously.
I would be fine with that tbh. As long as there is equality under the law
