Have you ever shared anything over the internet only to later find out and recognize it was not true (not half true or out of context, outright false)?

Yes, early in my SoH 'career', I tended to post from memory, rather than fact-check myself via Internet like everyone else does. After getting burned a few times, I learned my lesson.

I selected yes though I can’t think of an example. I’m careful about vetting my posts. Over the years, with tens of thousands of posts, it must have happened.
