If China,Russia, & India does nothing it doesn't matter. Spending trillions for a theory of refucing temp by .03% over 25 yrs is ridiculous

Yup. Climate change is a red herring for the welfare program that it's hiding. It's all about transferring wealth, not the environment.

Yep. Totally agree. We need to spend our money on researching thorium power. We can cut the cost of electricity by 1000%. It would help the poor enormously. And we will look like heroes to the rest of the world worried about CO2.

And yet we have done more environmentally then the others. I am not giving money to the world community to misuse; our own politicians do enough of that.

Raging, why DO you think all the other countries signed on? Here's why, they KNOW that we're going to give them money, it wasn't a noble thing to do, it was signed to get OUR money. If someone's going to hand me free money, I'll sign the dotted line also. So stop with this "Every other country signed on" BS

Its not about the reduction, it's about stopping the increase. The same study that Trump referenced about the .2 decrees reduction also stated that if nothing is done it could increase 5 degrees. We can't do anything to stop the destruction on its way, but we can do something to limit it so it's not catastrophic.

According to who? There are 4 countries that run essentially on all renewable energy.

China is already on track to set their emissions cap before the cutoff date and is working on building an electrical grid of renewable energy the size of the entire US electrical grid. China IS doing something

No water vapor, no global warming. IPCC got it wrong.

Oh it has everything to do with the Agreement, where it allows China to grow carbon footprint, READ IT

And I don't disagree, we already are, but if the other countries aren't doing it, IT DOES NOTHING

When will you get this through your thick head this agreement has NOTHING to to with climate Change?

RagingMystic covfefe

It allows us to grow our carbon footprint too. Its just grow less.

RagingMystic covfefe

Right, I'm sure the Paris Climate agreement has nothing to do with the climate. Just committing to limiting carbon emissions and pollutions, but it has totally nothing to do with the climate.

1) theres no spending trillions, its entirely what the government chooses to do about climate change
2) we're the ONLY COUNTRY in the ENTIRE WORLD that cant even commit to trying to make a change because we're too damn greedy

Raging, why would you commit to send our money and jobs to countries that don't need to comply with regulations until 2050?

This was an eye opener for me! Obama and Kerry can not be trusted to do what's best for US citizens. Let's make the US taxpayer pay for others carbon footprints!? Nuts!!

Ive read it. Obviously you haven't.

We made the damn problem, we should clean it up.

RagingMystic covfefe
06/03/17 6:40 am

...none of that has to do with the agreement.

RagingMystic covfefe
06/03/17 6:47 am

And for the record, this "unreasonable sum of money" is about 3 billion, not much when talking governments. Considering weve already paid a third, staying in the agreement would cost a conservative estimate of 27 trips to mar a lago, of which trump has already taken 25.

RagingMystic covfefe
06/03/17 6:48 am

Well, 25 as of April. Hes no doubt already spent more on personal travel than staying in the agreement wpuld cost.

We did not make the damn problem!!!' Now you sound like Obama-faux apologies. Climate change has happened for centuries, well before America was discovered. The US has spent trillions on cleaning up their act as well as subsidizing other countries, like China and Russia, in cleaning up theirs. We have enough issues of our own to remedy.

RagingMystic covfefe

The us is the single highest polluter in history, we absolutely did make the problem.
