Do you ever secretly hope for another economic crash so you have the opportunity to buy stocks, real estate, and/or other assets for bargain prices?
Do you ever worry about the harm that will do to real people?
A crash? No! The amount of financial devastation that there would be would be awful and the thought of it happening just so I could make a profit would make me sick.
I agree with Skinner with regard to a crash, but market corrections are both to-be-expected and very necessary. I would like to see a small adjustment if only to tame some potential bubbles. We are now in the second longest bull market since WWII so we are overdue for a correction. I would rather have a small dip now, than a big crash later.
I lost my 401k in the last recession. Please not another
Yes. Not too harsh a fall , but yes. It's always better to buy low. Buying at its lowest, even better. Even the price of gold would skyrocket.
