State Opinion Poll Series #8: Is your opinion of Colorado more positive or negative? In the comments section, list the first things that come to mind when you think about the Centennial State?
36 inches of spring snow on Saturday and sitting at the dog park in shorts today! No better state!
Used to live there. Beautiful state, but California-like politics.
Cons: Hippies, Potheads, Bronco Fans
Pros: Rockies, Outdoor Recreation
Colorado is weirder than I thought
Obviously very liberal, leading to my negative impression.
Cons: Weed and libs.
Pros: really nice, lots of fun stuff to do, and the broncos are entertaining. Overall positive.
Negative - Beautiful state with fine hardworking resilient people over run and outnumbered by pot smoking liberal Californians.
I think of left-leaning libertarians, potheads, John Denver, Willie Nelson, ski resorts, Coors Light, and the Rocky Mountains. I also think of it as a swing-turned-solid blue state. The negatives outweigh the positives for me.
Positive. Sees candy outlets! What more can I say😊
Beautiful state! I think of strolling downtown Denver and one of the best steak dinners I ever had.
What are the murals of?
Denver mint: P
Rocky Mountains: P
Opinion of Colorado:
My youngest daughter used to live in Leadville. I really liked it there. I brought my sewing machine with me and it has a plastic decal on it. It went from 0 feet above sea level to whatever Leadville is. It burst the bubble on the decal.
So many mass shootings that happened there.
Denver International Airport murals.
The highly variable continental climate east of the Rockies.
Something just feels "off" about that state. Sorry.
Went there to see my cousin graduate and smoked a bunch of legal weed.
I think of its beauty, so positive.
I thought of the Broncos.
I think of the snow covered Rocky Mountains.
The only liberal state which I have a neutral to negative opinion.
A lot like Wyoming, only crowded, and farther south.
Beautiful, would live to live there if it wasn't so cold
Weed, mountains, snow. Overall, it's a quality state
