Submariners aren't allowed to even tell their wives and children when they will leave or come home, but the president can tell foreign leaders about ship's movement.
He is the president he can share information if he deems it necessary and we have elected to give him the right to do that. We didn't elect some enlisted submariner who probably doesn't even know where (s)he is going.
This is my standard response for this:
Submarine above water: Unclassified.
Submarine below water: Classified.
I understand how this works because I am a submarine Quartermaster. Thank you.
Right. Let's just leave it up to chance. It's okay to be careless.
Insult? I am just saying that they might not even know when they will get back nor should we trust some random guy just because they joined the navy. Second, this is a power of the president that people knew yet they still voted Trump. The populace believes Trump should be able to give out this info if he wants.
Except CNN discussed it a month prior.
Nice dig. Everyone knows, but thanks for the insult to the enlisted military personnel.
Additionally, popular vote doesn't determine competence or the ability to keep state secrets apparently.
Well, considering CNN reported this age ago it's bit hypocritical don't ya think? He's the president and the president can disclose whatever he wants. Also, it's not like he have a gps location.
This is a man who didn't know what the nuclear triad was last year so I do not have confidence in his ability to filter classified info. He should just not give it out. I would trust a captains wife more.
It's good to be the boss🍒🎉⛳️
As president he can declassify any information and share it as he likes.
Should he? No.
Can he? Yes.
Did he actually divulge this information? We don't know. He could easily say there is a submarine somewhere that there is not really one
Works for me.
I wouldn't be any good at keeping the secrets from my family.
Maybe this was a paper dragon or
A coded message
A threat to protect
A plan above your grade to agree or to disagree
20 knots 400 feet
Lol that's not at all true 😂😂😂😂
Oh? Enlighten me please.
I know of someone that serves on a nuclear sub.. they now when he comes and go.
