For those of us who CCW do you use a revolver or a semi auto?
I keep a 357 magnum double action revolver next to the bed and carry a small semi-auto.
I carry a Ruger Sr40, holds 15+1 with a spare mag.
Kimber Ultra Carry
Im going to use a 38 snub.
Spare mag and Browning's ultimate design .45 ACP. Nothing better or more reliable on the market. Used to carry Ruger 4" .357 mag on duty and off.
Depends on situation.
1911 around the house
Springfield XD .45 Compact generally
KAHR PM45 for discrete
KAHR P380 for ultra discrete
For those who use revolvers how many speed loaders do you carry with it?
Also how fast are you at reloading it?
Lastly is it because of the reliability factor of carry one?
M&P Shield 9mm
I'm looking into revolvers bed bedside, though.
Er... For bedside, though.
I have a 22 revolver
My primary is a g-22 with a backup over under derringer in .40s&w to maintain consistent caliber. I like the reliability of the glock and train often on instant action. So I don't think there is much trade off on reliability any more
For the same price, check out a RIA 1911 tactical compact. MUCH better CCW weapon.
When I do - and it's not crazy often, it's a Springfield 1911 range officer. IMO best handgun for the price on the market.
Beretta 90-TWO. Synthetic 9mm, kind of like the 92fs but better. I load it with 1 rubber, 1 no-rico round, and then hollow points.
Or a Kimber Gold Combat II, all hollow points, depending on how I'm feeling.
Semi. Currently carrying a Bersa BP9CC, but i'm going to shortly change to a BP40CC.
I will carry a semiauto in 266 days.
But hopefully sooner
