Has a song on the radio ever told you exactly what you needed to hear at the moment you needed to hear it?
Everything alright, man? I know you've been feeling down and out recently. Hope that song helped a bit.
A medium once told me that spirits communicate through songs. As an atheist, I find that crazy, but certain times it has seemed plausible.
I was 17, nervously making my way to my first university class, listening to a Walkman. That song that says, "I will survive/I I'll get by" came on. I think it's the Grateful Dead but I'm not sure. It gave me some badly needed confidence.
Yes. I listen to a lot of jazz, but sometimes I listen to gospel music. There was a song talking about getting back up when you've fallen, and hold your head up. At the time I was dealing with several things. I remember crying listening to it.
Sometimes I'll be singing a song in my head and it'll come on the radio. This is how I know radio announcers are telepathic.
Baby you're the song that makes me want to roll my windows down and cruise... It is a good thing you cannot actually hear me sing. Lol
Sometimes when I'm listening to k-love (Christian radio station) or country music is pretty relatable
That used to happen to me ALL the time!
Jazz is awesome! Listen to that to keep me chill
Right on! Jazz will help you relax, that's for sure. :-)
Whenever it happens I'm just like "score 1 for ESP!"
the best ever was when i got in my car after quitting my first real job, and "Take This Job and Shove It" was playing on the radio. :)
If I needed to hear something, why wouldn't I just tell myself.
During my last breakup, the song "Hero" by Regina Spektor played as she drive away... quite poignant
Not exactly. But, sometimes i turn the radio on to an upbeat song that just puts me back into a happy mood.
And just let her cry,
Let her walk right out on me...
Yep. Keane - Everything's Changing... Played at a redneck gas station of all places.
Yes but not from the radio, I don't like the radio or the commercials that come along with It. But m iPod has an incredible talent for read in my mind and putting on a song with lyrics thy tell me what's up, or playing the song I am thinking of.
Also to clarify, I wasn't listening to top 40 stations, which are by nature pretty predictable.
I got cut from tennis and the "Dont You Worry Child" can on!
Oh yeah I never listen to those. Classic rock all the way.
I'm with ^ on this. The radio is not prophetic, and I don't need pep talks via musicians I've never met.
