Have you ever eaten something that you think most people haven't or wouldn't? (Feel free to share in the comments)
Cobra, turtle, shark fin soup ( I know. I feel terrible having done this and won't ever again) 100 year old egg(worst thing ever), pigeon eggs, alligator, emu, stinky tofu, ostrich egg. Probably more.
I tried eel and octopus a few months ago. The eel was fantastic--juicy, easy to chew and full of flavor. The octopus was like chewing a wet rubber glove.
Is that sarcasm, or is it actually good?
Love my smoked eel sushi!
Eel, various species of sashimi (raw fish)
Alligator, escargot, liver pate, frog legs. All were better than I expected and alligator actually tasted like chicken.
Anything drenched in hot butter, cheese and garlic is good!
Really, there's one place i order it every time i go. Its amazing.
I agree! eel is so nice. Octopus is the bubblegum of the sea.
So I've heard. Wild game dinners ate a great place to acquire some new tastes
Escargot. Mmmmmmm tasty snails!
