Although they would probably kick both of their arses, which party do you think the founders would favor most. Why?!?!

How is Democrats being in favor of big government, welfare programs, high taxes, and ignoring the constitution (things the founders would despise) lies? I would love to hear the truth about the Republicans from the Democrats. That would be a first.

Republicans, they at least pretend to respect the constitution.

Republicans, because of small government.

Republicans because at least SOME of them respect the Constitution and believe in a small government that protects liberties instead of imposing tyrannies.

And so the high taxes, the welfare programs, and the sweeping of the Constitution under the table would please them because...?

Republicans because they have actually read the constitution.

Republicans because they're adamant about keeping the constitution a functioning document.

Democrats were responsible for civil rights problems. For example, KKK- founded by Democrats. Martin Luther King - Republican.

Most of them would be Republicans with the exceptions of John Adams, Aaron Burr, and Alexander Hamilton.

We don't rip up the 2nd amendment. And we don't use the NSA to Illegally spy on americans without proper cause, and we appreciate states rights with the 10th amendment instead of giving everything to the federal government, like a socialist state.

Sean Hannity* and I thought liberals were open minded to all views. Guess not, btw he's not presenting opinion in that video, he's presenting proven historical facts.

Skinner; not hypothetical... Fact. Ask someone like John Lewis. Most all southern blacks were republicans back then. The reasons are obvious.

A Fly; bill whittle....really!!!

But where way off subject.. John Adams would have been a democrat. :)

Yeah, yesterday I was told to go move to a fascist country and keep my opinions to myself, all because I said it was sad people tend to show a lack of respect for our country nowadays. Hahaha

That's all true, I remember the Dixiecrat's and that time. But things flipped around in 1964. I'm sure if MLK had lived he would have become a Democrat as all of his followers did. A good point anyway but times do change?

Democrats. The founding fathers believed that politics was a process in which rational voters and representatives calmly sorted out what would be best for the entire community. Republicans are only interested in their ideology and winning.

It's a matter of interpretation. Do you really think that NSA allegations only went on with this administration? Please!

Depends. George Washington didn't want foreign entanglements. Kinda democrats. Thomas Jefferson. Kinda moderate/republican. John Adams kinda democrat. Overall--mix/democrat.

I know but I like the quote....
And where do you get off that you respect the constitution and more then the Democrats??

The Patriot Act? Suppressing voter registration? Civil rights issues?
