My Dad died in June, 2007, just 3 weeks after being diagnosed with stage IV gall bladder cancer and sent home to die. My son and I flew to Daytona Beach to be with him and Mom those three weeks.
My wife was diagnosed with colon cancer and lost a
third of her colon, then went through weeks of chemotherapy. She's been cancer-free for five years but was left with persistent neuropathy in her feet from the chemo.
Thank God that's all.
