I'm excited about the upcoming movie "When the Bough Breaks". Do you want to see it? (Trailer link included.)
Uh. I think not. I don't like that kind of manipulation-scary-creepy vibe.
It reminded me of a book that I thought I had read (audiobook, actually) but I can't find anything by that title that fits, and the Wikipedia article about the film doesn't mention that it's based on a book... But I'm sure I've read something similar.
I'm with you @susanr. I don't enjoy the creepy vibe. Have fun at the flick though, BamaGirl!
I've seen so many movies with this story. Bad Lifetime channel move, Hand that Rocks the Cradle. Fatal Attraction etc. I'll wait for the word of mouth reviews. Otherwise I'll skip it
Fatal Attraction was GOOD..
Yes yes yes. It seems like it will be a very good movie.
No, but I do want to see Bad Santa 2.
Trailer is rated R but it's here if interested
Not to this extreme, but I've lived (twice) where another female has tried to take my husband. One was more extreme/crazy than the other. So these movies don't appeal to me.
I do NOT like his movies. Not one. None of his TV shows, either. I just can't get into 'em.
Thanks, Ima! I like a variety of movie types! I LOVE the Hallmark movies, but I also LOVE thrillers!
This is a thriller...think "Hand That Rocks the Cradle". (Which I loved, BTW)
Reminds me of "Hand that Rocks the Cradle" which I LOVED!!!
I can see that for you. 🙂💜
It is a good thing!
Oh! I think I have only seen 1.5 of those... I'm not sure that the one I watched was his, TBH. 😃
Looks interesting. Like you stated below, reminds me of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. It would be the kind of movie my wife and I could both enjoy, which is always a good thing.
I'm not sure what kinda crack I was smokin' ⬆️. I meant to say that I like his movies in theory...
Is this the latest Tyler Perry flick?...🙂
You better save some o' that for the rest of us!😎
That is not my kind of movie - I am not a drama girl, and movies about sociopaths just creep me out.
Kubo and the two strings is more my speed 8)
creeped me out tbh
The last one actually thought she was in a three year relationship with my husband. The things she accused him of couldn't have happened because he was either with me or at work -- with witnesses. She threatened to stab me. She hid under a small flat bed trailer to watch us. This isn't the first guy she went psycho-stalker on.
Jon Cassar is the director of this one.
I saw it last Saturday, after I got back home from the valley!
I've read a book by that name and agree with susanr. It was also extremely judgmental and picked a worst case scenario.
Too long ago to recall the passages that made me balk.
At first glance I see no connection between those two.
The book is about child abuse.
No worries! I'll share wit' ya!
Yeah, I've read that one (I like the Kellerman books; I've also read his wife's books, and a couple of his son's - all 3 write quite differently but I like them all), but that's not the one I had in mind, nor is another one I found with the same title but haven't read. So I think it must be one with a similar theme but different title, but sufficiently different that it wasn't used exactly for the plot of the movie.
That's it, it's well known:
I sure did like Fatal Attraction! I still find it a bit chilling...
"I'm not gonna be ignored, Dan...!"
Man, this is worse than a monster movie!😱
Wow! I've actually never seen "Fatal Attraction" in its entirety! That looks intense!
Not my interest. 😎
With Morris chestnut?
Reminds me of the crush
A little too intense for me.
I'm sorry. I'm not familiar with him as a director. I just like the looks of this movie in the trailer.
That's cool! I LOVE Thrillers like that! It reminds me of "Hand that Rocks the Cradle"!
No, I meant Tyler Perry! ALL those 'Madea' movies, Meet The Browns, Love Thy Neighbor, Haves and Have Nots, For Better or Worse, etc. freaking etc.!😆
I saw the trailer the other night. It looks interesting.
That's why we have different genres, right? 🙂
At least I'm not alone!
It's not, but I do enjoy his movies!
The movie isn't.

I first saw the trailer & few weeks ago & I have been looking forward to it ever since!
