Did you know that 94% of the shrimp you eat is raised on shrimp farms with little or no regulations. Pollution is widespread and antibiotics are used liberally. Is this
I don't eat shrimp but I didn't know that.
I've heard of them, didn't know the percentage was that high though
Well, I didn't ask for the government to interfere. Part of the responsibility of free choice is to take responsibility for ourselves. From that POV knowing/knowledge is part of our decision making process. Besides, these farms are in other countries. FOr me I love shrimp and armed with these facts I would pay extra for wild shrimp or shrimp raised in farms that run a cleaner operation and could show me that their shrimp were healthier.
I didn't know. Good thing I only eat about 4 shrimp per year.
Mainly in Thailand. The shrimp farms there are immense. I have some money tied up in an aquaculture syndicate over there.
Why should the government be interfering with our liberty to eat the foods we want?
Everything in the world is fucked. This shrimp thing is just a drop in the ocean of disappointment
94% of 0=0 shrimp eaten by me I the last two decades!
