The Christian Faith is...
They go through hard times like all of us, I wouldn't say they are oppressive by any means.
oppressed for thousands of years weve been hunted down by liberal policies tryin to kill us off and support islamic extremists but god keeps his people survivin
I don't find it oppressive nor oppressed. Sorry, that's a poor poll.
Obviously a biased pole. I'm sorry that you won't get any usable data.
Calling it oppressive is a load of bull **** it Christianity is a faith of freedom and love.
More oppressive. I don't see it being so oppressed.
You don't need to be.
yes it is
Its oppressive nature is a direct result of its doctrine of eternal punishment (hell). The indoctrination of youth, the distrust of other belief systems, the effort to impose their religion on others, etc. is all justified if it saves people from an eternity of torment. The truth is, no crime is worthy of infinite punishment. There is no such thing as an infinite crime. I would have no problem with Christianity if its afterlife system wasn't so unnecessarily harsh, unjust, and illogical.
You just have to remember that the Christians, and Jews before them, were some of the first to use fear as a sales tactic. We all know fear sells. And if you can get people to join your group to avoid eternal damnation, you gotta sale. That's all it is. We all know know that he'll is right here on earth. So just relax and don't buy it if its not for you. Us pagans don't believe in heaven or hell. It's much easier to deal with all the craziness that way. Blessed Yule.
I wouldn't say either of these. Certain sects are oppressive. But most really aren't. It's oppressed in the Middle East and in East Asia but thrives in most of the world
Not all religions.
Well. All except Wicken. We accept all gods.
And you have to remember that all religions have a no God before me clause. It ensures brand loyalty
What are you talking about?
