When was the last time you programmed a VCR (not dvr) to record a TV show or movie?
This morning if you count a DVDr, a few weeks ago for a VCR because the signal to the cable box for my second DVDr was too week to be reliable. It now has a 15 db signal booster on the line which works like magic.
How do I rewind my 8 track?
What does that have to do with a VCR?
Oh. I guess I could record from a TV on an antenna signal, couldn't I? I guess that never occurred to me. Are there tricks to it? Do I have to leave the TV on, or does it work with it off? Can you record one station while watching another one, with an antenna?
I did record stuff from cable when I was in grad school & was working a lot at night, & cable was included in my rent. I remember *thinking* about looking into doing it when I moved & lost the cable, but I don't remember anything after that... I must have spaced out.
And now, I don't have *any* tv reception, so it's kind of a moot point. I just stream stuff, & didn't even do much of that for a couple years.
Oh, IDK! I took video movies only on and put them on VCR in the day.
It's difficult to remember. 15-20 years ago?
I just found two vcrs with are move over the summer. They were packed away with the vhs tapes.
I don't even know if I can find the VCR in this house anymore...
I haven't had cable since January 1998, so almost 18 years.
Actually years ago I bought a analog to digital VCR converter and put all my videos on disk. What's next?
I really need to do that with all my movies & other stuff on tape. Before it actually dies. I also have some pretty rare cassette audio tapes that I need to deal with.
I've never done that. I'm lucky when I can get it to play a video. 😐
About the same time I put electrical tape over the clock so I wouldn't see it flash 12:00
