Inspired by people protesting Cecil the lions death: Does killing a wild animal make you a murderer?
No, it may make you many things in many people's eyes and I find it disgusting but it's not murder.
Is tasking a life taking a life? It's a senseless killing, one that harms our world.
It's taking a life, but in a legal sense it is not murder
A killer, but not a murderer.
We should arm all the animals so they won't be hunted for sport.
I'll bet the lion that just wanted to live, procreate and roam, felt pain for 40 hours plus after being shot and allows to roam off, and will have his cubs killed by the new dominate male may have thought so...
No. It does not. I've hunted and killed plenty of animals, even humans (in the Corps). All the animals were tasty, I didn't try the people though...
I understand where you're coming from. Fair enough.
I was just out weeding my landscaped rocks and they have pretty much destroyed them with their digging. I'm thinking about cutting the heads off the ones I shoot and putting them on a small skewer as a warning to other chipmunks.
Selling fetus parts does,
Yes. Dogs and pigs operate mentally at the level of a 2 to 3 year old child. Dolphins, whales, elephants, many apes are highly intelligent both intellectually and emotionally.
The info is out there...
Not even close
Thanks for that freakshow.
*some exceptions for the poopface part, like hunting for food
It's interesting how people rate and value different species of animals. Many vegans would say yes, that it is murder. I'd say no but killing animals can be just as bad as murder.
But is it murder?
I'd still have the advantage. I can climb trees. Deer can't. Just don't arm the squirrels, bears, mountain lions, and any other animals that can climb trees and I'm in.
I usually eat what I kill. Except chipmunks. Those I kill because I hate them.
An animal killer, not murderer.
We don't have them where I live but I did rescue two baby squirrels a few years ago, nursed them and gave the one that lived to a sanctuary.
Using that logic, I'm a murderer because I hunt.
A murderer, no.
A poopface, yes.
Perspective is everything. Would you want to be hunted?
Can an animal have those human feelings?
When you hunt, do you eat and use the animal or is it senseless killing just to kill?
