Sour style beers?
Also hi. I've missed you guys <3
I baked a cake, it says "welcome back Bethan"
...I ate some of it.
BETHANY!!!!! Forget the beer! You're more awesome. 😊
And you've been missed here, as well! Good to see you back.
Easily Understood. She is an acquired taste, like arsenic.
YOURE ALIVE!!!!!! Ms. Beth! You have been missed! Welcome back!
Welcome back!!!! 8)
Your voice has been missed 8)
And that beer would be hoppy, bitter, and sour. :)
I did appreciate some aspects of her. (I always like it when people make me think, for example.) But it wasn't mutual.
bethany!! you've been sorely missed.
Now we need Violence and wittlebaby to return and we can have a reunion tour!
Welcome back!! You've been missed.
I love em. Cascade Brewing in Portland has some dank ass sour beers!
Yes. She was a one way street. But it went the way I was going usually. If it wasn't, I wrote it off as comedy.
Heh, I can understand that. For a while I was pretty much exclusively drinking IPAs, but even my preference for IPAs has been shifting (so I strongly prefer bitter IPAs to IPAs with sweeter or darker hops). It's worth trying something different every
now and then - never know when you'll find a new favorite to add to your list!
It's so nice to see you. You are missed.
I hate beer.
Never had this before but glad to see you! I was just asking fire about you the other day! Yippee!
Yep! Not a great fan of hoppy stuff, but add a little sour and I'm all in.
Ever had a Flanders red or a gose?
Hahaha thank you! Are there any corners left? The corners are my favorite!
It's nice to see you too!!
::blushes and hugs Maj::
Oops... My reply to EW went above here a bit.
And I know the bundle of random known as wittle was... many thing to many people.
Duchesse de Bourgogne is my favorite Flanders Red Ale. Soooo damn good. www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/641/1745/
Glad you're back!! Was concerned.
Welcome back! You've been missed.
Bring on the Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus! Sours are fantastic this time of year, small and refreshing.
Yes, and I am currently aging 'Prairie Gold' from Prairie Artisan Ales.
Well, *you* can. Violence still has me on ignore. (Which is OK with me...)
Misplaced reply... But now I'm wondering if there's a beer somewhere with "Violence" in the name.
Thanks!! I know I owe you an email from months ago - I can't check gmail at work (they have it blocked, seriously wtf!) so I've been horrible about emails for a while now...
Yessss! I LURVE Duchesse de Bourgogne!
I hear you, Susan. I've always enjoyed violence's perspective even though I don't always share it. I know you tried to smooth things over. It does take both people to get it to work :-/
Flanders red sounds familiar but can't remember having one.
An IPA is so hoppy w such a distinct bitter taste that it's influenced my taste for all other beers.
That's probably not a good thing.
I won't touch anything besides Bohemian style lager but my husband enjoys it.
Not my favorites.
I like IPA's but that's bitter not sour.
Please give an example of a sour beer.
