If all eligible voters were legally required to vote (a la Australia), would American politics/government improve or worsen?
We'd be much more republican than we are now.
If voting were mandatory it should also be mandated that all voters be informed and knowledgeable.
Some have conflicting definitions of "legal" many democrats say everyone who lives in America are "legal", while many republicans claim that only white people are "legal". Both are hopelessly wrong.
Is that supposed to be serious? There's a reason Republicans push all of those voter ID laws.
Better simply because Democrats would dominate, but it shouldn't happen.
And that reason is because they're dumb.
