Real story: Two buddies plan a prank on a third. They hide behind a bush and suddenly jump him. Spooked, he pushes both away into a shopping window which cracks. Nobody is injured, but who pays for the window?
He acted reasonably in self defense. The pranksters caused the sequence of events.
They high tail it out of there before the store manager catches them so technically the store owner pays.
I think all three should split the bill.
The owner for putting in a lousy window.
Agree. The pranksters are 100% at fault for this. I'd probably punch someone who did this (PTSD business), but my friends get that so don't scare me, were all happy lol
Sadly, yes. Blame the victim laws :/
Well that sure is fair.
Prank is just another word for assault. The fallout from their crime is on them.
Technically, the pusher caused the damage, but it surely was a reflexive self defense move, so the two idiots pay.
The pusher legally will be responsible.
Agree! All 3 equal pay.
Not me asshole
I think whoever initiated physical contact is at fault.
