Do you feel beautiful?
Ladies, youve got to give yourselves more credit. If you're anything like the intelligent women I walk by every day, at least 80% of yall are beautiful.
I feel gassy
Yes. Especially in their behaviors toward other people. Beautiful is not the opposite of masculine. Personally, I think it complements it.
You are also a bigot, but unfortunately there's nothing the doctors can do about that.
Only when my son tells me that I "look just so pretty today". :)
Yes, I always do after getting a manicure and pedicure :)
Here is a scholarly article on the differences between Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Gender Identity Disorder. You appear to be confusing the two conditions.
And the person whom you are alluding to (not too subtly) does not hate herself, like to frighten children or say, "Take that, society!"
Oh for gods sake!! Tmi!!!!!
No. I have Body Dysmorphic Disorder. I am a female because I said so and I hate myself. I like to frighten children. Take that society! You can't do anything about it.
Hollywood, television, and pop culture have raised unrealistically high standards of what constitutes proper appearance for both sexes. Many are then left feeling substandard and inadequate, or encouraged to rate others and self on appearance alone.
Sure, they can. The word beautiful isn't really tied to any gender apart from the ridiculousness society has imposed upon us. But beauty goes beyond appearances.
I feel like dancing. And I'm horrible at it.
As I stated, medical professionals have different opinions on this.
And does it really matter, anyway?
On the inside, yes.
It takes one to know one.
No. I'm a man.
I'm on my period.
What the hell does it mean to "feel beautiful"?
Examine my first answer. Beauty in the way that the question asks is what I speak of. Outward. Men are not outwardly beautiful. If they are, then they are not very manly. We are supposed to be just that, manly.
Some days more than others, but most days, I do.
I don't think that's a good idea.
She (it's obvious who you mean) has a responsible job, helping people every day. From what I have seen on SOH, I see no danger to children, from having her "walking around in the world." Anyway, what is your proposed solution to the perceived danger?
I'm a night owl. I don't have to get up until 9. I only have one class tomorrow! :)
Sometimes. Depends on the day. :)
I hope not. Have you seen yourselves?
Nah. But while shopping babies stare at me a smile. They like me. I like them.
No, according to all the ads on tv I'm too fat too bald too old and my teeth are not white enough.
I don't feel beautiful, but I do feel sexy. I think that counts more.
Feel? I am beauty.
No but I'm handsome lol.
Days that end in "y"! :D
Aww I hope thats every day. :)
Not right now. I have a huge zit in between my eyebrows.
No..but I do not base my sense of self worth over physical attributes, I feel sorry for those who do
I have good and bad days.
I think my face looks alright, but I'm overweight. Fighting some pretty crazy genetics (dad was nearly 500lbs). I eat healthy, exercise daily and watch my calories. But, I also brew beer. I like to drink it too. :/ What do I do? Give it all away?
I am satisfied, my wife likes me, but I feel I am closer to handsome than beautiful.
Imma guy soo....
No! I'm handsome.
No, but I did 10 lbs ago.
Mostly I'm just grumpy that none of my clothes fit.
You must have that Donald Trump hairstyle.
I feel like a potato.
It's a mental disorder, Alice.
Because sometimes treating the physical can help with the mental, like my student covered in scars from a fire.
Well the question doesn't mention inner or outer beauty. And men were not made to be ugly and women were not made just to be beautiful/have babies. Sorry if anyone disagrees.
Does he know that?
