Is President Obama's middle name (Hussein) often used in malice? (If so, please answer why you think this is in the comments)

It's a pretty transparent effort to associate him with something scary and foreign to the good God-fearing white Christians who are the "real" America. We elected him twice anyway, because thankfully most of us see right through that kind of crap.

Often times yes because people tend to associate Hussein with terrorism, Islam, and antiAmericanism. Of course Obama is an adherent none of those concepts and there is nothing wrong with Islam.

Of course it's used in malice. It's not a typical American (western world) name.
It reminds us everyday that our leader had a heavy Muslim influence growing up.

It just doesn't make sense to me from a political science perspective for a political party to insult an entire demographic of people. Of course, Islam bashing does help excite the base but it's just not worth it. Most Muslims agree with Republicans

Mr. Insane Hussein sounds quite appropriate. I get a little rhyme in there. His Mama named him right.

As a country, we used to have respect for the office of the President, even if not the man. Now, it seems to be sport to see who can be the most insulting when referring to President Obama.

Because it stresses his "otherness" even more than the color of his skin does.

Yes. We use it to remind people that he sympathizes quietly with radical Islamist terrorists, including the "Palestinians," and is demonstrably anti-Israel. I will continue to protest his mistreatment of Israel as long as he is in office.

I don't care what his middle name is. His policies are what makes him undesirable. Did Republicans get upset when people called Bush Jr. "George Walker Bush"?

It's used in malice because lots of people have irrational malice toward him, and it's a easy (read: lazy) way to display your hate.
