Soviet Russians and nazi Germans would call you a little bitch, when comparing to their times. lol! but in all seriousness, at this rate with republicans and democrats it wouldn't surprise me if it would happen.
Is the crime measured by our current standards of the ones respective to that society? (Would we count crimes that are legal now in the criminality rate of the new state)
I had the same question. I think there would be more crime, because a lot more things would be considered a crime, but probably less crime going by to today's laws.
I understand it could encourage rebellion or such but you're saying suppressive ideals in social policies wouldn't ease the crime rate? We'd be free to tap phone lines, monitor the internet, and integrate mandatory ID cards to check on the spot.
Obviously less! Just look at inner cities where police run rampant, keeping those people down and unable to move up! Being forced to commit crimes such as theft and drug dealing to help pay their fines and court costs.
Nope.I honestly believe we, collectively, are so very stubborn in our desire and belief that we are FREE that shit would hit the fan. sine would def rather submit than fight, but on the whole? nope, that would tip up over the edge I think.
