With the passing of Susan and Rons, SoH lost two big voices in the community. While they contributed much, they were gone in a blip. What would you want to say to your SoH friends before you go?
Oh. We had a cat that did that. I’ve got this boy Laying on my hip now. If I move, he’ll get mad and bite me. I got the boy to keep the girl company. Turns out she hates him.
I just realized I should have acknowledged some of the others in this thread that have health problems, like you, Bumpa. Sometimes, I have to zero in on one topic just to keep my thoughts straight with the brain fog, that I miss other things. Praying for you, as well, and others here, that need it. ❤️❤️❤️ and 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
No. I haven’t even set up the appointment yet for the oncologist in B’ham. They’ve just recently called and left a message. I’m not sure I’m going to go to that one because I’m not in pain right now and don’t want to do anything that will stir that up again.
@SFLiberal did some research and tracked down his obituary. I think it was just yesterday that he posted it, if you want to read it and/or add a message to his family.
Thanks everyone! I appreciate the heart in your messages and share the sentiment of gratitude for the SoH experience. I’m a little surprised by the number of people who would blip out with nothing said. Each to their own. Cheers!
My go to prayers are the 23rd Psalm and the Lord’s Prayer. Any kind thought will do. I am actually “happy” It Is me versus a lot of other of my friends and family.
