Well since most "Chinese" food was actually American creations either in the USA or Italy ...of course most people in italy would barely recognize American pizza as pizza so another bite for America

Selena on which part of Italy. We had pizza they cut with scissors and you folded and ate as you walked. I think that might have been in Florence. Different types of pizza depending on where.

I’m not a fan of escargot. Had them in Paris. Or andouiette. Not sure if that’s how it is spelled. Sausage with pig intestine. Most of the food there was fantastic. We had crepes with whipped cream; caramel, and with ginger ice cream. Yum. The bakeries alone would make me the size of a Mack truck if I lived there.

You lived in both? Why did you live there and for how long? I absolutely love being over here in the UK.

Potato dumplings with sheep cheese (bryndza) and bacon. With a dollop of sour cream. 🤤

FYI : The correct demonym for someone or something from Slovakia is Slovak, not Slovakian. 😉

Fish and chips is always a great one. Probably order that as take away more than anything else.

Could be deer steaks, buffalo steaks, bear steaks and so on.

The other option is prime rib… I’m guessing that is an American dish but I am not positive.

It appears China might have been the closest to what we call ice cream today.

We were just in Paris in January and there was some great food. The carbs at the local bakeries though!
