It is impossible for snap to lift people out of poverty if you are in SNAP program and you lift yourself out of poverty I will agree it can help but it is not designed to lift people out of property it's designed to subsidize low income households for a short period of time.

The courts do not hold the power of the purse. That’s Congress. This was a judicial overreach. But, the Dems should at least vote to bring a bill to the floor and propose amendments. SMH

I believe the government was already paying partial snap payments and will continue. They were halted on paying FULL payments only....
