Cardinal Robert Prevost was elected as the very first American pope. How do you feel about this selection?

The very 2020 article you mentioned also reads:
“Why the dip in Trump’s fortune? The coronavirus pandemic.”

So 2017-2018-2019 were pandemic related?
You keep deflecting.

I’m glad that he believes in the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman and is against the abomination of homosex.

Trump losing to the pandemic makes good sense, in the sort of business he is in. That had nothing to do with presidency.

Biden gaining $2M at end of presidency, on an estate worth $7M is not improbable either, in the period of time he was in office. I know my properties gained significant value in that same time. Does not look like related to presidential influence peddling.

IDK much about Hunter. I had little interest in that side of the story, because of the petty aspects of his dealings.

Parents do help theirs children, and I can relate to that, up to a point.

When that becomes as flagrant and huge as the billions involved in Trump’s son in law’s dealings with the Saudis, to pushing nepotism to the point of hiring their own family members to key positions at the white-house, or also, to a much more modest, nonetheless concerning level, to Hunter’s dealings with that Chinese investment firm or Burisma, then I turn away in disgust.

"His losses in 2017-2019 were due to property valuation changes, independent from his presidency. "

Were Biden, Obama and Clinton's wealth gains "independent" of their presidency ?

Trump lost wealth from his public service

Biden - Obama - Clinton all multi millionaires from their "public service "

Is that a true statement?

"Nacho suggests he lost wealth during his first term. True, "

Let me fix it for you...

Nacho said Trump lost wealth during his first term and he is 100% correct as usual.
Now I am making excuses to try to do an end around from the factual comment Nacho made. Is why I refuse to answer the direct question from nacho/

I find it hysterical that his childhood home is in Dolton and the owner thinks he can make a buck from it. It’s in Dolton. No one wants to live in Dolton! OMG!

Who told you that? Trump did a great job with the pandemic. His policies saved hundreds of thousands if not millions of lives.

Another fact: Just like Trump, I lost a ton of money during the pandemic and because of it, and like Trump, I made it Ll back and beyond, after the pandemic. Nothing to do with his commitment to the service of the country … nor mine … nor anyone else’s. Bringing this up in the context of a discussion about who gets richer or poorer as a direct result of their holding govt office is a fallacy. Trump recovered just fine and well beyond, and is posed to benefit significantly more, with the shady influence peddling schemes he is running right now.

Only later did he finally acknowledge the seriousness of the pandemic, and facilitate the access to test kits, and the pace acceleration on vaccine research and delivery, which sure was the right thing to do. But any leader in his right might would have done that from the get go.

Trump never lost money *because* of his public service other than having less time to mount scams such as Trump university or other such vaporware based on his “brand”, or as a consequence of his own mismanagement of the early weeks of the pandemic that did cost us all, proportionally to our savings, property valuations, etc.

The very 2020 article you mentioned also reads:
“Why the dip in Trump’s fortune? The coronavirus pandemic.”

Let alone the wild swings of fortune listed in the wikipedia articles where they expose tax tricks and fraud, fraudulent real estate and other “business” dealings, etc. Trump has been master of all his life long. The presidency is only another opportunity for him to bring his art of swindling - and associated risks - to the next level.

His losses in 2017-2019 were due to property valuation changes, independent from his presidency. He himself valued properties wildly differently, depending on whether the data should be presented to the IRS, to investors, or to banks as guarantee for loans, which also characterizes his crookedness.
