It’s got nothing to do with crime. Obviously I would stay away from the well known bad parts. I just have no interest. I would much rather go to Europe, Australia and Japan.

Absolutely. In fact, I am planning a cruise in two years that will make a stop in Cozumel.

Many medical procedures can be obtained in other countries cheaper than in the United States but you better make sure you have a doctor here who will follow up on any complications unless you are willing to travel back for f/u care. That being said, dental procedures in Mexico shouldn’t pose a problem.

None of that matters, but I’ve been there within the last year and I’ll be going again in August. I’ll be driving through Tamaulipas and Veracruz, I think I have a much better idea about Mexico than you, who doesn’t leave the resort.

LOL. Did you grow up in Texas, too? Do you have family and friends throughout the Mexican interior? I’m sure we’d agree on much more than we’d disagree. Enjoy your trip.
