I have an earbud in my ear for about 16 hours a day. I dont care for headphones because I sweat where the cushions are and their bulky and they fall off. But I gotta have the earbud all day because I can never allow myself to be in silence or else Ill start thinking about life and go into a depressive spiral đĢ . The only solution ive found is 24/7 distraction đ
I have Bluetooth hearing aids, and though they can play my Spotify and other things, the sound quality just isn’t there, nor is the background noise reduction needed in a loud place like the gym.
Prefer the sound and comfort of headphones, but not practical when walking/jogging. Couldn't stand the common "earplug" style, so I use the wrap-around, clip-on style. Also don't like the noise cancelling, not only because you can't hear traffic or people shouting "on your left", but they sound like you're underwater.
Agree 100%. My hearing aids are blue tooth but, I couldn’t hear my content over the music & such at the gym. I can we are ear buds there, but only because I am there an hour or less. Otherwise they hurt my ears too much.
Depends entirely on context. At my computer I want to wear my nice over-ear headphones for best sound quality and comfort long-term. Walking around my neighborhood I prefer the portability, minimalism, and lack of interference with sweat and my hair that earbuds offer.
I wear hearing aids so the ear buds aren’t great for me. With my headphones I can keep my hearing aids in & then hear very well with our any distortion of sounds.
I guess just luck after going through MANY sets of earbuds. Lots of the ones ive tried hurt my ear. I finally found 'heyday' brand earbuds to be fairly comfortable. They do still make me a little sore if I fall asleep with them.
