Yes
St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen!

There is absolutely no reason to think they do. Imagine I write a book of fairy tales and present them as historical record. What would people say about it 200 years later? Would it make sense a religion would be created from it? That’s pretty much how I feel about the Bible.

It looks like you’re not familiar with how the American judicial system handles the burden of proof. Same rule applies here. At this point, it’s best to take the loss and move on.

@Doopy it’s the other way around… as a young and gullible individual you’re taught to believe in Santa Clause and the tooth fairy. Some of you stay that way plus a few extra wrinkles. π€·βοΈ

And yet we don’t believe in the tooth fairy, and we believe St. Nicholas is in heaven not the North Pole. We have the maturity to see angels and demons are different. You lack it.

Since I’m not making any extraordinary claims, I don’t need to prove anything. You do. And this is usually where things stall and the response slips into something immature instead of substantive.
If you want inspiration, feel free to ask your god. Maybe he/she/they will offer some guidance.
Or don’t. Either way, the point stands.

“Since I’m not making any extraordinary claims, I don’t need to prove anything.”
BWAAAAHAAAHAAHAHAhahahahaha!
That’s not how it works. The burden of proof is identical for all claims ordinary and extraordinary. The commonality of the claim isn’t a factor in your obligation to prove it.
“You do.”
Already did. Still waiting for you to figure it out.
“And this is usually where things stall and the response slips into something immature instead of substantive.”
You *started* this conversation there.

Wrong on both counts, actually.

Metaphysics? π€this is a branch of philosophy that discusses what is reality. I can be a materialist/atheist like Marx and still be doing metaphysics.
