That is not the primary responsibility of the government. If they have extra it is great to do, but not an essential function.

Yes a judge has ordered the Trump Administration to use other funds and when Trump okay how the judge had no response.

And the Supreme Court has paused The Impossible judgment.

There are no funds available that can be legally tapped into.

I believe the government was already paying partial snap payments and will continue. They were halted on paying FULL payments only....

Food is essential for people, its not an essential role of the government

SNAP isn't an anti-poverty program.

It's a pro-poverty program.
You remove the personal responsibility of feeding yourself and your family and you remove one of the primary reasons for life.

SNAP doesnt lift the majority of its benefactors out of poverty. There are a minority of people that use it temporary to lift themselves out of poverty. The a large swath of people use the subsidy as a crutch to keep hobbling through life.

People are dependent on SNAP benefits for their lifestyle and we are seeing their pleads for SNAP payments to continue surfacing all across the internet.

Some women are even bold enough to complain that they no longer have money for themselves and must spend it on their children to put food on the table.

A person who uses SNAP benefits for their livelihood is a person in poverty. A person who uses SNAP benefits to make it through the month is a person living in poverty.
A person who uses SNAP benefits for the time between losing income and finding income, is lifting themselves out of poverty.

It is impossible for snap to lift people out of poverty if you are in SNAP program and you lift yourself out of poverty I will agree it can help but it is not designed to lift people out of property it's designed to subsidize low income households for a short period of time.
