No. There's no such thing as death. We merely transition out of the human vessel and return to Source (what religious people call God).

Any evidence of this?

Krystina Let Freedom Reign

NDEs. I’ve also had my own personal experience that confirmed this for me without a shadow of a doubt. But for anyone interested in the topic, thousands upon thousands of NDEs prove this—keeping in mind that only a single one needs to be true to prove it.

Various scientific breakthroughs are also starting to support this in a myriad of ways. We even have a group of mathematicians, who tried to disprove intelligent design and ended up doing the opposite. Fascinating stuff.

Note though that none of this, including Source, has anything to do with religion. Atheists and agnostics have NDEs, too, with a large number of them having encounters with Source.

Where’s the PROOF? Just because multiple people claim to have seen Sasquatch doesn’t make it REAL.

I, too, had a real NDE when I was young but didn’t see a light at the end of a tunnel. Please share your experience…

I did on my poll on this topic, though I don’t expect you’ll believe it, and that’s fine. We all have to walk our own path at our own pace. I wouldn’t have believed it a few years ago myself.

Sounds intriguing. Really haven’t read about or heard about other people’s NDEs before. If you’d still like to share, I’m all ears. No judgement, I promise.

Krystina Let Freedom Reign
Jul 01, 12:48 pm

What I had wasn't an NDE, but something far rarer, though not entirely unheard of. I don't mind sharing, but I already wrote it up on my most recent poll, and it's several posts long, so I don't want to retype. Can you look at my most recent poll? It's at the bottom.

And if you’re super interested in the phenomenon, the University of Virginia is a major center for studying NDEs. Check out their Division of Perceptual Studies, which is part of the Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences in the School of Medicine.

Dr. Bruce Greyson is a good source. He’s studied over 1,000 NDE cases since the 1970s.

For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.
Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this saying will be fulfilled:

“Death is swallowed up in victory."

I will be immediately in the presence of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Not because I have been a good person, but only because I have asked Him to forgive me for my sins and live through me.

I'll no longer be a person with any thoughts or feelings occurring, I don't believe in an afterlife. I do look forward to the material of my body being broken back down and cycled back into the earth and its natural neverending systems. Everything that makes me up, from all the pieces of nature that I've consumed and absorbed to build my own form, will go on over time to become part of those same things again. The knowledge of that makes death a lot more beautiful to me and a lot less scary.

Yes, it will be the end of the sentient being that is known as “Right of Center” on this platform and other names elsewhere.
That said, I strongly suspect that there is something, a soul, an essence, an energy, that is not “personal” to me, that may continue to “exist”, but certainly not in an ordinary way. What ever exists won’t be making comments on SOH or driving my truck!

But what do you think your soul does all day in heaven? Are we chatting with relatives? Playing harps? Praying all day? Doing everything we love. ? Can we still eat even though we don’t have bodies? It’s heaven. What if eating ice cream was my favorite thing. Can I still read? Can I look over loved ones still living? Can I send them signs? Why can’t everyone send signs? Will we have super powers? Will we be able to visit earth if spirit if we want. Can I go to Fiji for a few hours unobserved. Sort of teleport there. What goes on. Do we just worship all day.

My consciousness, yes. Unless my consciousness somehow extends beyond my own, there are theories about this but...i dont know if anyone has stated this without a shadow of doubt... But in so far as i know, according to the law of conservation of mass, my existence is eternal. Matter is eternal. I believe I have always existed and will always exist, but that consciousness is a temporary byproduct of physical processes.

You can’t explain how mechanical processes can result in value, purpose or meaning. You can’t explain how cells whose interior processes are more complex than any human built factory could happen at all, much less pass that complexity to succeeding generations.

But you can cling to the very unscientific notion that random chance caused it all.

There are no kind and peaceful people. We are ALL sinners who fall short of God’s grace.

fahq2 Loving Life
Jul 01, 5:21 am

So what happens to the souls of peaceful Buddhists when they pass?

Do they just go straight to Hell? Or do they rise above but can’t walk behind the Pearly Gates since they don’t have a VIP Christianity Pass?

fahq2 Loving Life
Jul 01, 8:04 am

@4JC my question is a valid one…why are you choosing not to respond?

4JC Christian Pastors Wife
Jul 01, 4:09 pm

Fahq, the Bible teaches that ANYONE that does not accept Jesus as their Savior goes straight to hell. If you choose to have nothing to do with Him in the afterlife, He allows you that choice. So it would depend on whether that Buddhist accepted Jesus or not.

4JC Christian Pastors Wife
Jul 01, 4:09 pm

And I wasn’t avoiding your question. My answer applied to ALL people.

fahq2 Loving Life
Jul 01, 5:18 pm

I’m sorry, but that just doesn’t seem fair.

A peaceful person who never harmed a fly is going to Hell because he didn’t accept God as his savior.

But a person who has stolen, raped and/or murdered innocent people will be able to enter the Pearly Gates just because he asked God for forgiveness?

4JC Christian Pastors Wife
Jul 01, 5:24 pm

Where did you learn that life was fair? My mom taught me that life is NOT fair. Did your mom not teach you that? That might be what’s wrong with today’s younger generations.

But in this case, it’s completely fair. If you tell God you want nothing to do with Him, He gives you your greatest wish. How is that not fair?

fahq2 Loving Life
Jul 01, 5:41 pm

Glad to hear the murderer and rapist will be able to hang out with the other Christians up in Heaven…whose lives he destroyed. Just hope they don’t hold a grudge. 🀷‍♂️

Makes perfect sense to come full circle like that.

4JC Christian Pastors Wife
Jul 01, 6:13 pm

That’s what you don’t understand. The Christians ARE SINNERS as well as the murderers. The only difference is that our sin is covered by the blood of Jesus, just because we repented of our sin, asked Jesus to forgive us, to cover our sins and to be the Lord of our lives. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a liar, a gossip, a rapist or a murderer. God’s forgiveness is there for ALL who come to Him!

This is EXACTLY what puts Christianity into a different category compared to every other religion. We don’t have to WORK our way to God. He DIED for us. He comes to US with love and open arms. If you want to have a relationship with Him, you can have, no matter what you’ve done in your life. This is what makes the testimonies of those that have committed heinous acts so powerful…..that God would forgive them, no matter what!

fahq2 Loving Life
Jul 01, 8:21 pm

You’re right. I don’t understand how a mass murderer could walk into Heaven just because he accepts Jesus to be the son of God —while a kind and well-mannered Agnostic goes to Hell.

But I’m not one bit concerned, because I know it’s completely false.

4JC Christian Pastors Wife
Jul 01, 8:47 pm

The kind and mild mannered agnostic makes the same mistake Adam made….thinking they’re smarter than God or that there is no God. Why should any of them bother with this, when they don’t even think there is a God, or that they’re smarter than Him?

And that’s EXACTLY the mistake they make….thinking they’re smarter or greater than the Creator of the entire universe and each of us. That’s like a piece of pottery thinking it’s superior to the potter, or a piece of my counted cross stitch thinking it’s superior to me, when it would not even be in existence if not for me.

4JC Christian Pastors Wife
Jul 01, 8:50 pm

As the creator of my pieces of cross stitch, I can make use of them however I want. I can make one piece into a baby’s bib, bath mitt, blanket, or bath towel. I can make another into a Christmas stocking, a man’s ball cap, a coffee mug, a bookmark, a kitchen towel, etc. It’s MY choice as to what I make them into and how I use them in my life, or for gifts, and they have no say in that. They are not the creator. I AM.

Btw, God and Jesus both use the term “I
AM” multiple times in the Bible….to show their eternal being both past and future.

4JC Christian Pastors Wife
Jul 01, 8:51 pm

Sorry….when I was typing that out, the format didn’t show that the “I” and “AM” were going to be separated on different lines. Hope you can figure out what I meant.

fahq2 Loving Life
Jul 01, 8:58 pm

The Agnostic didn’t make a mistake, he just didn’t learn about the teachings of Christianity.

The killer is more evil than 99% of all other sinners, having taken and ruined many lives.

Who is worse in your book?

4JC Christian Pastors Wife
Jul 01, 9:01 pm

Agnostics know about the teachings of Christianity. They just refuse to believe.

It doesn’t matter what I think and who is worse in my eyes. Of course, to me, a murderer is worse than someone that lies. But I’m not the PERFECT Creator of the world, for whom anything less than that perfection is falling short of His glory.

4JC Christian Pastors Wife
Jul 01, 9:03 pm

I understand very well where you’re coming from and I can even understand why you feel as you do. Over 2K years ago, God inspired some of the authors of the Bible to write about you and people like you.

1 Corinthians 1 states, "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God". This verse highlights the contrast between how the gospel is perceived by unbelievers and believers.

Similarly, 1 Corinthians 3 notes that "the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God".

Additionally, the concept is further explained in 1 Corinthians 1, where it says, "But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise".

These passages emphasize that the gospel, while seen as foolishness by those who do not believe, is actually the wisdom of God.

mark4

"A peaceful person who never harmed a fly is going to Hell because he didn’t accept God as his savior"

Who is that person you speak of. I don’t think such exists. You’re left with relative badness by the standard of a perfect creator, with the possibility of perfection provided only by the sacrifice of the creator. I recognize your need to deny, but just give it a try. Let’s do an experiment. Go somewhere private. A big stretch of woods is fine, but even a well insulated room will do. Now this next point is important to do, regardless of what you think of it. Yell out your need for God's intervention. Tell him you can’t do it on your own and need His help. Ask Him to come into your heart right then.
