No. It will be the beginning of an immortal life never ending. Now is the time for each individual to choose for themselves what kind of a life that will be, and with whom they will live that life.

I will be immediately in the presence of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Not because I have been a good person, but only because I have asked Him to forgive me for my sins and live through me.

Humanity is so weird about death. I understand why on an evolutionary level but man, we’ve got to get past it. We’ve created whole fairy tales that run people’s entire lives and start global wars just to deal with our unease about death.

But what do you think your soul does all day in heaven? Are we chatting with relatives? Playing harps? Praying all day? Doing everything we love. ? Can we still eat even though we don’t have bodies? It’s heaven. What if eating ice cream was my favorite thing. Can I still read? Can I look over loved ones still living? Can I send them signs? Why can’t everyone send signs? Will we have super powers? Will we be able to visit earth if spirit if we want. Can I go to Fiji for a few hours unobserved. Sort of teleport there. What goes on. Do we just worship all day.

I'll no longer be a person with any thoughts or feelings occurring, I don't believe in an afterlife. I do look forward to the material of my body being broken back down and cycled back into the earth and its natural neverending systems. Everything that makes me up, from all the pieces of nature that I've consumed and absorbed to build my own form, will go on over time to become part of those same things again. The knowledge of that makes death a lot more beautiful to me and a lot less scary.

Yes, but I would obviously rather be wrong.
Unless people actually suffer eternal torment for failing to worship the right God. I suppose that would be a bit of a bummer.

Yes, it will be the end of the sentient being that is known as “Right of Center” on this platform and other names elsewhere.
That said, I strongly suspect that there is something, a soul, an essence, an energy, that is not “personal” to me, that may continue to “exist”, but certainly not in an ordinary way. What ever exists won’t be making comments on SOH or driving my truck!

My consciousness, yes. Unless my consciousness somehow extends beyond my own, there are theories about this but...i dont know if anyone has stated this without a shadow of doubt... But in so far as i know, according to the law of conservation of mass, my existence is eternal. Matter is eternal. I believe I have always existed and will always exist, but that consciousness is a temporary byproduct of physical processes.

For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.
Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this saying will be fulfilled:
“Death is swallowed up in victory."

I always say my husband and I will be together, but my heaven is his hell. I’ll be in a park with all of my beloved pets that have passed on. He will be there, too, but will have to feed them, pick up after them, and share his couch with them. βΊοΈ

NDEs. I’ve also had my own personal experience that confirmed this for me without a shadow of a doubt. But for anyone interested in the topic, thousands upon thousands of NDEs prove this—keeping in mind that only a single one needs to be true to prove it.
Various scientific breakthroughs are also starting to support this in a myriad of ways. We even have a group of mathematicians, who tried to disprove intelligent design and ended up doing the opposite. Fascinating stuff.
Note though that none of this, including Source, has anything to do with religion. Atheists and agnostics have NDEs, too, with a large number of them having encounters with Source.
