I haven’t found one to suit my needs. I want one that faces front and one that faces rear but not on the inside where it shows me or the other passengers. I also need it to be capable of filming behind my trailer when it’s hooked up.
Yes, one on my Harley because I’ve had tons of close calls and 2 bad accidents.
One on my Jeep wrangler to video my off road shenanigans. Also my Gladiator, all have fwd and rear cams but the Gladiator doesn’t record.
It’s like a video camera that faces forward out the front window and films the traffic etc. it’s like a neutral observer in the unfortunate event there is an accident . Records continually to a memory card as long as the car is running
Yes they make them with rear view as well. The one I have is basic with front view only , because I want to learn what it can do before getting an advanced model
The road that our housing edition feeds into is unsafe. Goes from a 55mph zone to a 40mph zone , and drivers don’t even tap their brakes. Speeds of over 70mph in our residential area are common. Police claim they know it’s bad, but don’t have enough officers to patrol it. I’ve had several close calls. The dash cam is to record , in case something happens
I’ve studied them quite a bit. When I pull the trigger I’m going for the wolfbox mirror. Head to head comparisons is comes out on top in most categories. I’m just not excited to install the hard wired rear camera. Also hoping can substitute an OE appearing flush camera instead of the one provided but haven’t found out yet.
For easy installation camera I’d go Viofo dash cam.
Just my two cents.
The deputy police chief in our city knows me, and has been very honest on the situation with manpower … as a senior citizen my reflexes aren’t as fast as they used to be, so this worries me. All caused by the enormous growth of a city east of me , without building additional infrastructure first ..
