Re the long-comment cut-off issue - My understanding is that there needs to be an empty line between the end of the actual comment and the period or whatever character you type after than. I’ve seen comments get cut off if there isn’t a space.

The cut-off can appear differently on different iPhone & iPad models, so there isn’t any one uniform cut-off view that people get, and it doesn’t cut off for everyone. Sometimes turning to the other orientation (landscape <—> portrait) will show the missing part, but not always.

I imagine the discrepancies have to do with screen size & format, mixed in with differences caused by combinations of both number of characters and number of lines.

It’s a mess. But if you do add a blank line before the period, it shouldn’t happen.
