Day 78, Question 1 (Congress): By a vote of 54-45, the Senate confirmed Judge Neil Gorsuch to be the next Supreme Court Justice succeeding late Justice Antonin Scalia. Senators Joe Manchin, Heidi Heitkamp, and Joe Donnelly voted in favor.
