The US has a homicide rate of 4.88 per 100k. It's 1.68 in Canada, 1.15 in Sweden, 0.92 in the UK, & 0.31 in Japan. Even Niger, Egypt, & Liberia have lower homicide rates. Please explain, to the best of your ability, why you think this is the case.
