Senator Schumer, while you have been obstructing the POTUS's efforts to "make America safe again", your constituents have been victims of a terrorist attack in Time Square. Do you feel guilty or have any remorse?

Trump has not made the USA any safer. Nothing the Senator has done has made put the country in danger. Get real.

It wasn't a terrorist attack. Silly poll.

With that logic imagine all of the national tragedies that the republicans are to blame for when they were the obstructionists from 2013-2016! Who should we blame for Sandy Hook?? McConnell??

As far as I know, Sandy Hook was the result of a distraught mother unable to cope with a mentally ill son. Giving him access to her guns ultimately proved fatal to her. Connecticut has plenty of laws, but none of them prevented the tragedy!

So how is Schumer responsible for this drunken car accident for being an obstructionist to Trump's agenda but republicans aren't responsible for any of the other national tragedies (Charleston, Pulse, Aurora, San Bernadino, Sandy Hook, etc.) when they were being the obstructionists in the Obama administration?

Delete this dumb poll.

You idiot, all they did was try to enact legislation, that Harry Reid made sure was "dead on arrival". They only held up Merritt Garland. If Hillary had won, he would have sailed through. Schumer has done nothing but try to sabotage Trump's presidency. Very patriotic!

"All politics is local". Schumer is one of the NYS Senators representing NY City, since they don't need votes from the balance of the state. Being totally engrossed in the destruction of President Trump, Schumer has not given a thought regarding the protection of his constituents. "If he is not part of the solution, then he must be part of the problem"

I don't like Schumer but this question is not fair. Nothing he is or is not doing would have stopped it.

We don't know what he could have done, because he has not even tried to do anything to address or fix a problem! Being an obstructionist is absolutely nothing to be proud of! Although I never liked him, I respected him as a Senator, but I have no reason to do that anymore. He apparently is a clone of Harry Reid.

I commonly hear from conservatives that government IS the problem. What solution is there to this problem?

Harry Michael Flynn is a traitor! Your question is stupid.

DonutHole, my question might have been worded better. If a man is actively trying to bring down a President and things go wrong for the country, he should show regret! You have called a three star General, who has not had the benefit of a trial, a Traitor. What does that make you?

Hole, accusations with neither evidence nor testimony are a waste of time, as are most of your postings!

Even if this were a terrorist attack, why would this be Schumer's fault?

Because the dumb son of a bitch has done everything he possibly could to slow walk Presidential appointments, encouraged security breaches by Obama political appointees still in sensitive positions because of organized Democrat obstruction. He had a hand in delaying the appointment of the DNS and Director of Homeland Security. When they play dirty political games and people are hurt, they should man up and accept responsibility. He is a hypocrite and will probably blame it on Trump or Bush.

On the first point, while he did delay the cabinet nominations, all of the national security team is already in place. Everybody like Secretary of Defense Mattis, Secretary of HHS Kelly, DNI Coats, UN Ambassador Haley, etc. I don't see how you can blame him for slowing down the nominations when all of the cabinet nominees were in office in time to respond to this false alarm attack.

On your second point, there's no evidence that he encouraged "security breaches". It's also not clear to me what security breach you're referring to this year that would have enabled this false alarm attack. Frankly, if a terrorist wanted to drive his car into a crowd on a sidewalk, he doesn't need any leaked intelligence to do it.

Skinner, the problem is that while the people at the top are Trump's people, obstruct ion in the Senate has ensured that Obama employees have yet to be replaced at the lower levels. Somehow, that does not encourage good governance.

I am only assuming that he is doing everything he can to obstruct Republican efforts to correct Obama's mistakes. You are assuming that he has not hindered any work to hinder terrorist inspired attacks.

They NYPD have already said this does not look to be linked to terrorism, and that the suspect was most likely drunk. This is *not* a terrorist attack, its a bloody drunk driving incident.

The Leftwing Liberals, especially DiBlazio always say that without benefit of a completed investigations. If you swallow immediate political spin, you may be the "dumbass"! It took more than a year for Obama and his lackeys to stop calling the Fort Hood attack workplace violence!
