Do you think that the 58% of Republicans who aren't birthers, are embarrassed that 42% of their own party are extremely susceptible to misinformation, irrational conspiracies, and racism?

Are the Democrats embarrassed by their "birthers"? Apparently not.

No more so than Dems are embarrassed by those in their party that believe Bush got us into war under false pretenses.

Probably not. Nothing much seems to embarrass Republicans.... look at Trump.

It is. Between this and all the Donald Trump nonsense, my identity as a Republican has been tested throughout these past couple weeks, and I'm seriously considering becoming an independent if there isn't a stop to it

How many times do I have to say it?

OBAMA IS NOT AMERICAN. Any moron with two eyes and half a brain can plainly see that just by looking at him.

I don't see why racism has anything to do with it.

If Obama was white, and his dad British, it never would have been an issue.

I think any member of the Republican Party is ashamed of at least one other aspect of their party.

I'm pretty sure everyone gets second hand embarrassment from birthers.

You mean the ones that have Trump running seventeenth out of seventeen and falling short of "qualifying" for Fox's "debate" show? Yeah...probably not.

No, because the ones who are embarrassed have already left the party.

My husband finally quit them this year. He just couldn't take it anymore. I'm actually kind of sad for him.
