Why do they get Indiana Jones? We need Indiana Jones on our side.

Indiana Jones would not be a liberal. He fought Nazis for God's sake. Do you think many liberals fought Nazis?

Of course he would be a liberal. He was an archeologist, how many archeologists do you know who are conservative? Also, everyone hates the nazis, not just conservatives. Plus he never carries a gun, he just has his whip, a conservative jones would

Somehow the order of my comments got reversed, but you get the idea.

An archeologist AND a college professor nonetheless, how can that be a conservative?

He always carries a gun. One of the most famous scenes in all the series is when the bad guy is spinning a sword like a badass and Jones looks over at him like he gives no fucks, and shoots him.

That was shot that way because Harrison Ford had the flu. He was supposed to have a big fight scene with the guy. He did that and the director loved it and thought that perfectly fit into his persona. So they kept it.

Ok you are right about the gun. But that doesn't sway me at all

Does this mean Christians and "satisfied with life" are mutually exclusive?

Not at all. These are actually from a study of Facebook Likes. One choice is the group who Liked these things more than anyone else. The other group is a plausibility, but they're not meant to be opposites. :)

Some of those things (Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck specifically) are some of the greatest things to happen to liberalism.
