They split for a reason; they disagree on interpretations of the Bible, or on which parts should be focused on.

Not really. There would be a preponderance of liberal denominations as opposed to those who actually believe the Bible. As a nondenominational full gospel Christian, I see that idea as a big negative.

I suppose I should've asked whether people would support efforts to make unification more viable rather than supporting unification with current circumstances

No. Catholics and Protestants will never and should never unify the faiths because then someone is giving up something. We can agree on our commonalities or bicker for the rest of days but no.
