Mercury is a city in Nevada that is walled off from the world. It has an unknown population, and the general public is forbidden to go there. It houses the workers for the Nevada nuclear test site. From your view, should it still be a closed city?

Those are silos, not nuclear test sites.

OK. So they open it up, give you a tour, and then shoot you because you saw everything. Some beehives are best not poked.

Telling someone it's for national security doesn't involve a tour.

I need to know if it's classified for national security reasons or not. Everyone here paid for it.

Who wants to bet the entire town is eight year old Asians handling nuclear waste with their bare hands.

So it's a nuke site. They could be developing the next generation reactor. Or, maybe all the workers are all American Indian and it's tribal lands and therefore sovereign. You are a cog on the wheel and don't need to know.

I'm sure google maps have been altered but even still I'm sure much is underground. Same for everything about area 51 and Los Alamos as well.

It's illegal to have live nuclear weapon tests anymore.
