Apparently. Everything these days seems to be a remake, a prequel, a sequel, or based on a book.

No, but they have run out of people willing to take risks.

I'm always looking for something good to watch.

Ex Machina was good, and I always recommend the 1980s The Thing to anyone who hasn't seen it.

I was laughing that they're gonna re-reboot spider man and the new fantastic four and the myriad of other super hero movies coming out.

I think it's really good but a bit dark for me. I'm surprised USA network is doing it since it doesn't seem like the type of show they usually air. Give it a try... Lemme know what you think

I know this is a TV series but have you watched Mr Robot?

No, but why take a chance on something new when they can just continually churn out remakes/reboots/sequels and make money without even trying.

Yes and it should start over.

Of course not. Last year brought us Boyhood, Whiplash, Birdman, Interstellar, and many other original titles.

This year, tons of great original movies are coming out. (Or already have! I'm looking at you, Inside Out.)

Last year's bigest Oscar winners/nominees were original films.

Birdman, Boyhood, Interstellar, Whiplash, etc.
