We have both, my husband has his precious bass boat he lusted after for years and I have my 32' trailer. Started with a tent, then a pop up, small trailer, now nice trailer. Took years but we are living our dream.

14ft Cataraft with a 15hp motor and a Alpacka Llama...someday I'll be pulling my Cat behind an RV. Until then, I have a Honda Element that I pull it with. In the back I sleep on a queen size air mattress and look at the stars through the moonroof. :)

I have 2 kayaks. Both are set up for fishing. I have a Hobie pro angler and an Ocean Kayak big game. There's nothing better then being 6 inches off the water with the salt spraying in your face.the Hobie is like riding a bike.

We're living on our Class A RV. We chose that over trailer/5th wheel as fulltimers because better insulated (after remodeled) & we could tow economical vehicle more easily. For occasional summer camping, we'd have towed a trailer.

Fun, congrats on your work ethic and accomplishments. Don't mean to minimize those who do what you did. Just commented on those who have privilege to be able to buy yachts then minimize others to keep their privilege

Both, a 25 ft class C motorhome, and a 12 ft boat with a 6 hp motor. You don't exactly go for any sea cruises on a 12 ft boat. We also have a canoe. That's no luxury yacht either.

We Chose a trailer because we didn't want to be without a vehicle when we camped. We have a 5th wheel now, lots more trailer for the money, pulls good, hitches and unhitches easier than bumper hitch. Motor home $$$$$ and total gas guzzler.

Those same places generally have better kayaks for a little bit more. It's a blast n I would recommend it to anyone. Good exercise n great views most never see.

We do, a couple of weeks a year most years, plus a half dozen or so weekend trips. We also have a pickup camper, and in the last two years we've started using that more than the motorhome because we can go so many more places with it.
